Privacy Policy
Atlas Industries, Inc.
INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE
Atlas Industries, Inc. ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal data. This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes our practices regarding the collection, use, processing, disclosure, and retention of information we collect when you access or use our websites, software, and associated services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the data practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree with these practices, you must not access or use the Services.
CATEGORIES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT
To provide and optimize our Services, we may collect and process the following categories of information:
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII): Information that you voluntarily provide to us during account registration or communication, which may include your full name, email address, phone number, and address.
- Automated Usage and Technical Data: When you interact with our Services, we automatically collect telemetry and diagnostic data. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, access timestamps, and navigation paths. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to facilitate this collection.
- Financial and Transactional Data: If you initiate a purchase, your payment information is collected and processed directly by our PCI-compliant third-party payment processors. We do not collect, store, or maintain your full credit card numbers or banking details on our internal servers.
PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING
We process your data strictly for legitimate business purposes, including but not limited to:
- Service Delivery: To provision, operate, maintain, and provide the core functionalities of the Services. (Performance of a Contract)
- Account Management: To process transactions, manage subscriptions, and send administrative or technical notices. (Performance of a Contract)
- Security and Fraud Prevention: To monitor for suspicious activity, enforce our Terms of Service, protect against malicious or illegal acts, and ensure the technical integrity of our systems. (Legitimate Interest)
- Product Improvement: To conduct internal analytics, research, and feature testing to enhance user experience. (Legitimate Interest)
- Legal Compliance: To fulfill our legal, regulatory, and reporting obligations, or to respond to lawful requests from public authorities. (Legal Obligation)
- Marketing: To send promotional communications regarding our Services. (Consent, which may be withdrawn at any time)
International Data Transfers
As a company headquartered in the United States, the data we collect may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions where we, our affiliates, or our subprocessors maintain facilities. Privacy laws in these countries may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Services, you acknowledge and consent to this transfer. For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we ensure your data is protected by relying on legally recognized transfer mechanisms, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
SHARING AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We will only disclose your data under the following circumstances:
- Service Providers and Subprocessors: We may share data with trusted third-party vendors who provide essential infrastructure, payment processing, analytics, and hosting services on our behalf. These parties are contractually bound to strictly safeguard your data and use it solely for the purposes directed by us.
- Legal and Regulatory Authorities: We reserve the right to disclose your information if required to do so by law, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, ensure your safety or the safety of others, or investigate fraud.
- Corporate Transactions: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, user data will likely be among the transferred business assets. We will provide notice via the Services before your personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
DATA RETENTION AND SECURITY
We retain your personal data for as long as you maintain an active relationship with us or as necessary to provide the Services. Unless you explicitly submit a verifiable request for the deletion of your personal data (as outlined in Section 7), we reserve the right to retain your information as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in Section 3. This ongoing retention is justified by our legitimate business interests, which include, but are not limited to: resolving legal disputes, enforcing our Terms of Service and other agreements, investigating and preventing fraud or security breaches, and satisfying any statutory, tax, accounting, or regulatory reporting obligations. Upon receipt of a valid deletion request, we will securely delete or irreversibly anonymize your data, except where applicable law mandates continued retention.
We deploy robust, industry-standard security protocols—including encryption, secure infrastructure, and continuous monitoring—designed to protect your personal data from unauthorized access or disclosure. However, due to the inherent and evolving nature of internet architecture, no digital platform can be guaranteed to be 100% impenetrable against advanced cyber threats. While we maintain strict safeguards, you acknowledge that any transmission of data is done at your own risk.
In the event of a confirmed data breach that compromises the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your Personally Identifiable Information, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authorities without undue delay, in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CONTROLS
Depending on your geographical jurisdiction (such as under the CCPA or GDPR), you may possess specific rights regarding your personal data. These may include the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request the deletion or erasure of your personal data ("Right to be Forgotten").
- Object to or request the restriction of specific data processing activities.
To exercise these rights, please submit a written request to the contact information provided below. We will verify your identity and respond to your request in accordance with applicable statutory timelines.
OPT-OUT PREFERENCE SIGNALS (DNT & GPC)
Certain web browsers and browser extensions allow you to transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) or "Global Privacy Control" (GPC) signals. Because there is currently no consensus on a single, uniform technological standard for recognizing these signals, our Services do not currently respond to DNT or GPC signals.
To manage your privacy, you may instead use the manual controls provided in the "Your Privacy Rights" section of this Policy or adjust your browser's cookie settings directly.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our Services are strictly intended for a general audience and are not directed at, nor do we knowingly collect personal information from, children under the age of sixteen (16). If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information in violation of applicable law, we will take immediate steps to delete such data from our systems.
MODIFICATIONS TO THIS POLICY
We reserve the right to unilaterally amend or update this Privacy Policy at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date accordingly or by providing direct notice through the Services. Your continued use of the Services following any such revisions constitutes your legally binding acceptance of the updated Policy.
